Punch Brothers – Just What I Needed (Live at the A.V. Room in 2012)

A bluegrass-ish cover of “Just What I Needed” is probably, well, just what you need. The energy of the Punch Brothers’ performance is infectious. The banjo player kills it while he’s playing the main riff, and the fiddle player faithfully executes the guitar solo. It’s thrilling. And Chris Thile is having a ton of fun – about as much fun as you would have singing “Just What I Needed” in a Karaoke bar. You know, if you’re into that kind of thing.
