Albert King – Born Under A Bad Sign (Live in 1981)
Chances are if you know the song “Born Under A Bad Sign”, you know the Cream version of the song. It was originally popularized by Albert King , though, and written by Stax staples William Bell and Booker T. Jones. It was released in 1967, and was one of King’s biggest hits. Here he is playing it with his band – horn section and all. If you pay attention, you’ll see King has a broken finger. He still manages to tear off some great riffs and solos here, despite the injury.
