Bruce Springsteen – Kitty’s Back (Live in 2014)

When I was a kid, my first introduction to Bruce Springsteen was Greetings From Asbury Park and The Wild, The Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle. “Kitty’s Back” was my favorite track from the E Street Shuffle record, the one I put on mixtapes when I was trying to turn someone onto Bruce. It’s more than a rock song – it’s a multi part jazz composition with rock and roll style vocals. And this version is insanely epic. How could it not be? Springsteen has a 5 part horn section. But seriously, they must have rehearsed this to death, it’s so good. I’m not going to say anymore. You just gotta watch it.
